Casper T. van Weerd

Casper graduated with a master criminal law at the University of Amsterdam in July 2017 with distinction (cum laude), after obtaining a bachelor in history in 2013. Casper wrote his thesis on money laundering and the criminal enforcement consequences if illicit assets are mixed with legally acquired assets.

During his studies Casper subsequently worked for a legal aid institution in Amsterdam, the Public Prosecution Department and Hendrix Law. Casper is appreciated for both his in-depth knowledge of the law as his analytical and communication skills. In addition, he is an appreciated legal and physical sparring partner: in his spare time Casper is an enthusiastic boxer.

Casper has registered the criminal law area in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar. On the basis of this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points each calendar year in each registered principal legal area, in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar.
